Beragam Seni dan Kebudayaan Indonesia, baik yang bersifat kebendaan (tangible) atau ketak-bendaan (intangible) tersebar luas dan tersimpan di berbagai lokasi baik di dalam dan luar negeri. Sebagian berada di museum dan institusi, lainnya tersimpan di rumah penduduk dan kolektor pribadi. Sebagian terawat baik dan sudah terdokumentasi, namun tak sedikit yang belum terungkap, dalam kondisi memprihatinkan dan terancam hilang.<\/p>

Film seri dokumenter Buka Kotak<\/span><\/b><\/em> (<\/i>Unboxing Heritage<\/span><\/em>)<\/i><\/b> hadir sebagai Jendela Budaya dan sumber Pengetahuan dengan misi menggali, mendokumentasikan, dan mendigitalisasi berbagai mahakarya kebudayaan Indonesia.<\/p>

Rumah Produksi Buka Kotak (Unboxing Heritage)<\/span><\/b><\/em> <\/i><\/b>didirikan oleh Daniel Haryodiningrat (Direktur Museum Ullen Sentalu, Yogyakarta) dan Prof. Matthew Cohen (Dosen Seni Drama, University of Connecticut, Amerika Serikat) dengan melibatkan para ahli perfilman, grafis dan kurator. Dalam produksi dan penyebarannya, Buka Kotak<\/span><\/b><\/em> bekerja sama dengan berbagai museum, galeri, institusi, universitas, lembaga milik pemerintah dan swasta baik di dalam maupun luar negeri.<\/p>

Buka Kotak<\/span><\/b><\/em> terbuka untuk kerjasama lebih lanjut dengan dunia pendidikan dan pariwisata, melalui program seminar, lisensi, riset dan lainnya.       About Who We Are Indonesia’s diverse arts and cultural heritage\u2014both tangible and intangible\u2014are widely scattered and stored in various locations across the country and abroad. Some are housed in museums and institutions, while others are kept in private homes and personal collections. While some are well-preserved and documented, many remain undiscovered, in poor condition, and at risk of disappearing. The documentary series Buka Kotak (Unboxing Heritage) serves as a Cultural Window and source of Knowledge, with a mission to explore, document, and digitize Indonesia\u2019s cultural masterpieces. The production house Buka Kotak (Unboxing Heritage) was founded by Daniel Haryodiningrat (Director of Ullen Sentalu Museum, Yogyakarta) and Prof. Matthew Cohen (Professor of Drama, University of Connecticut, United States), involving experts in filmmaking, graphic design, and curation. In its production and distribution, Buka Kotak collaborates with various museums, galleries, institutions, universities, and both governmental and private organizations, nationally and internationally.
